The Ghana National Association Of Teachers (GNAT) has appointed a  new Deputy General Secretary in charge of  Administration And Labour  Relations in the person of Mr. Awotwe Nkansah.

He was born on 23^rd March 1956 and hails from Sefwi-Bekwai. He is married to Comfort Ennin and blessed with 6 children.

He holds an MSc in Educational Leadership from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom and Graduated with a Diploma in Communications Studies from the University of Ghana.

He has a versatile work experience. Until his present position he was the Coordinating Secretary for Consultative Council of Teachers Association (CCTA) for 4 years. He has also held different positions at GNAT Headquarters, Regional and at District levels.

Despite his busy work schedule he participated in community work.

His hobbies are reading, writing and watching of movies.
