The Fair Wages and Salaries Commission will soon schedule a meeting of the Public Services Joint Standing Negotiating Committee (PSJSNC) to kick-start the negotiations for the Categories 2 and 3 Allowances that are common to all the Nine (9) Service Classifications under the New Pay Policy.

This will be followed by the discussion of other Categories 2 and 3 Allowances specific to each of the Service Classifications e. g. Education Non-tertiary.

We therefore call on our members to remain calm as the leadership prepares for the forthcoming negotiations.
